The Leadership Team
David Kennedy, MSW, MHSA
David loves people. His desire to start Kennedy Care in 2003 as the owner, marketer, recruiter, bookkeeper and first caregiver stemmed from his desire to be better the lives of everyone who he came in contact with. He is married to Jacquelynn Kennedy and love his 4 children, Arianna, Ryder, Dash and Svea.

Tiffany Youngs-Bokas
Tiffany is passionate about working with people. She has a wide variety of work experience highlighted by time managing an assisted living facility and corporate HR. Tiffany has three children and a beloved husband.

Tara comes with a wealth of experience and has worked in the medical field for 21 years. Tara has been a caregiver, a manager of medical records, and an HEDIS audit specialist. Tara started off at Kennedy Care as a Care Coordinator and was quickly promoted to Program Manager of the Patriot Care Team due to her ability to lead her team.

Trish Sylvester
Trish has 16 years of experience in the medical field and 7 years as a manager in the medical field. Outside of work Trish enjoys spending time with her three daughters and her spouse, traveling, as well as fitness. She strives to help others improve in every area of their lives.

Mike recently joined the Patriot Care team after leading Kennedy Care's billing department since 2012. With high attention to detail and outstanding customer service, Mike has 10+ years of bookkeeping experience and a genuine passion for the health care space.

Danielle Gadberry, LPN
Danielle has spent the last 10 years leading the clinical side of a multi-physician family practice office. She also worked as an LPN at an extended care facility for 5 years. In her free time, she enjoys camping, wandering the woods with her 2 dogs, and spending a lot of money on plants. She has two children and occasionally fosters dogs as well.

Faith has a passion for helping people. After working in an assisted living unit for several years, she realized she wanted nothing but the best for people who need help. Faith is proud to take on her new role with KC as she will be in charge of finding the best people to help our veterans. Her free time is spent with her family - she has four wonderful boys!

Michelle Anderson
Michelle is a Care Manager for the Patriot Care Division at Kennedy Care. As an advocate for having the option to remain home as we age, scheduling qualified Life Care Professionals to provide assistance to our veterans helps fulfill that belief. Before joining the Kennedy Care team, she spent several years in the operation and coordination of home care for aging adults.

Tara comes from a family of Veterans and hopes to make even the slightest bit of difference in our Veterans’ lives. She looks forward to using her knowledge in management and being a Care Coordinator to help caregivers provide their very best to every individual. When she is not working, Tara enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Ashley has been with Kennedy Care since 2017. She has been in the medical field for 22 years, and takes great pride in her work with Kennedy Care. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time family.

Leighanna's passion lies in health care. While working as an LCP with Kennedy Care, she realized just how much she loved caring for our veterans and providing them with the best care possible. Soon she moved on to become a Care Coordinator where she gets to continue helping our veterans by finding LCPs best suited for them and their needs.

Stephanie is a Care Coordinator on the Patriot Care team. She previously worked as an After Hours Coordinator for the Safe At Home Child Care team.

Sierra Risner
Sierra joined the Patriot Team in August of 2020. Sierra has over 6 years of team management experience where she supervised her team along with creating and managing their schedules. She truly enjoys interacting with people and helping them to problem solve. In her free time she enjoys time with her family & being outdoors.

Ayat has worked in health care for over seven years, starting at U of M hospital then a nursing home. While working, Ayat attended EMU full-time where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She also is a single mom of two beautiful teenage girls. Ayat is very proud to work with Kennedy Care and she has learned so much from being able to work both independently and with a team to help veterans with in-home care.

Kiara started with Kennedy Care as a Care Coordinator in 2020. Kiara graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Psychology. Working for KC allows Kiara to work with different people and gain knowledge on how we as a community can help each other throughout different life phases. Kiara enjoys relaxing at home, taking walks and hanging out with friends and family in her free time.
